It is a tender, serious, joyful, rich, and sacred thing to be in circle together. To ask a group to sit together in circle for the first time, while being recorded, as we support dive into self- and shared-reflection, is a lot to ask of us.
To enable us to co-create a space of deep self- and shared-reflection, guest circle members are asked to respond to this **Ecological Us Guest Circle Member: Foundational Agreements** form before the session.

If you’re a yes to joining a session, your journey will look and feel like this:
- If we don’t yet know each other, I’ll ask you to jump on a 20 minute call so we can meet. If we both feel that moving forwards as a guest circle member is right for you, then we’ll move to step 2. (If we already know each other, we’ll move directly to step 2.)
- Once I get a yes from all guest circle members, you’ll be added to an email or whatsapp group (depending on the group’s preference) so that we’ll start to get to know each other and our social field. My hope is that your time as a guest circle member is as enriching as possible, maybe bringing you new relationships or work opportunities (with no expectations of this).
- Together, we’ll clarify the theme for our episode. I might have an insight into what that theme could be, since I’ll have a sense of our individual work and shared work threads. Or, one of you might have a specific question, challenge, belief, or worldview that you’d love to investigate through ecological enquiry and we are excited by that.
- We’ll find a date and time that gives us a 2 hour slot for the episode recording. (We don’t need to use all this time, if the exploration naturally finishes earlier.)
- You’ll receive a calendar invite for our date and time. To ensure that we’re relaxed and focused on being in circle (not on being recorded), I have chosen to stop using specific podcast recording software and returned to Zoom. So, the invite will include the Zoom link.
- You’ll be asked to respond to this Ecological Us Guest Circle Member: Foundational Agreements form.
- Once we have honed our theme and the above form has been responded to, we’ll co-create our unique circle agreements.
- Before the recording, I’ll share key details about timing and the process during recording.
- We’ll come together for the recording! I’ll record from the moment I arrive, to reduce the psychological impact of the ‘we’re now recording’ moment.
- Once the episode is recorded, I’ll do some gentle editing and I’ll send you a link to the Guest Circle Member Reflections and Episode Info Collection form. This will collect your bio and a picture for the episode release, which can include links to work and/or social media profiles. (See example length and type of bio paragraph in this episode’s details. If you are on Substack, you can be directly tagged as a ‘co-author’.
- When ready, you’ll be sent the draft episode to check there’s nothing in the episode you’ve said that you’d be legally concerned about, and I’ll ask you to confirm you’re happy with your bio paragraph.
- Once published, you’re welcome but not expected to share the episode on social media or in any other way you’d like.
- At this point, the Ecological Us part of our group’s relating will be complete and it will be down to each of us to decide what that means in regards to the group we’ve formed together.
